Any bored guitarists able to help me figure out these chords?!

I'm trying to figure out the chords the guy is using in this acoustic cover of Our Lady Peace's song Naveed, and everything I try sounds wrong! I've tried searching the net for the tab, but they're all for the electric version. Any clues would be much appreciated.

ps. yes I am a complete novice when it comes to guitar playing - I'm sure they're very easy to work out if you've been playing a while, but I haven't picked up a guitar (until recently) for years!

    The intro is:

    A - G with an occasional Bb5 thrown in

    The verse is:

    A - G

    The pre-chorus (?) is:

    A - Em - G (he walks the low-E from an E to F# before the G-chord)

    The chorus moves fast...

    A - D - Em - G - Cadd9, then repeat the Em - G - Cadd9

The turn-around at the end of the chorus is:

    Bbm - A - G - A (fast)

Then hold a G before back into the verse.

He uses an A - Asus4 pattern in the second verse to "spice up" the A-chord.

The second verse and chorus are about the same, except he doesn't use the little metal turnaround after the chorus. Instead, there's maybe a bridge...

    G - Cadd9

Then back into the chorus part:

    Em - G - Cadd9
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
