Sad

Misfit

Does anyone know of any way I could learn to play sad as a solo 'coustic thing? If it's just me backing me I need to think of a way of giving myself a strong rhythm as opposed to playing that riff (not very well) over and over. Any ideas?

Try fiddling about with Dm/F/C and see how that sounds. You can add/drop notes from the 6th string to add some flavor.Rock over London... Rock on Chicago... I love what you do for me Toyota - Wesley Willis0

Short of growing an extra pair of hands, do what the other dude said and drop to D for some bass notes. It'll help."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0
