Does anyone ever talk acoustic anymore? All I ever hear about is the gibson les paul telecaster and the pete townsend LP, and the fender strat. What happened to good ol' fashioned strummin ? I play mine whenever I get a chance and think they sound a lot cleaner and crisper. I love Acoustic!!!!

  • I know I love my Guild D25. It gets more play than my Fender Tele. A lot more play.
  • I love my acoustic, gets played as much as the electric, but electrics are more fun to talk about.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

Occasionally I get those acoustic moods, but for the most part I'm always playing my electric. My acoustic is harder to play and doesn't sound that great (it's a cheapo)... I'm thinking of just getting rid of it and buying an Art & Lutherie off of eBay or something.

Nice! I have a 300 series Taylor (314CE) and it sounds unbelievable.

Maybe one day I'll upgrade :)

Both are amazing guitar makers. You really can't go wrong with either. I prefer the sound and playability of Taylors a little bit more.

Nothing wrong with acoustics, but we are mostly boys right, and boys like more power adn more toys, adn elecrtrics give you both.
Can't really crank up the berries on an acoustic. It's like the differnece between a nice quiet stock car and a hot rod !!
Speaking of which, my Gretsch Hot Rod kinda bridges the gap. Sounds nice unplugged, but really roars when plugged in.

BTW STone plays Martins, Gibson and has a new Taylor T5 Thinline in black with dual outputs ( one is digital I think).
    Music is not a competetion.
