F'in Frustraded

I am definately hooked on playing acoustic.. Im new to playing , but Ive only found about three people that play guitar.. wheres all the love . I know a lot of people and only 3 play. cmon guys pick up the 6 string. f'in frustrating

i assume you're talking about friends and not people on the messageboard?

Yeah i've got a similar problem. None of my friends in NJ are that into music, especially playing it. My friends at college are down for jamming all the time. How old are you?

i've had that problem and then combined with the problem that the musicians i did meet were either unreliable or i didn't mesh with them at all. and then i kind of just dropped out of meeting other people all together.

next week though i'm getting together with a couple friends from work to jam around a bit so maybe that will go well. just guys like me that are pretty busy with work and kids but still want to keep playing.

Im 27 soon to be 28. I hate the fact that i dont know anyone who plays...well i know a couple...sbb

Yeah, I have this too, try being 42, and into groovy stuff. Everyone my age has kids or just sits around drinking piss. The closest mate I have who plays is 3 hrs drive away, and the other is at Uni a thousand miles away literally.
Fuckin' sucks, why are people so slack ??
