I would say Lukin because of the speed and intensity of it, but also the personal nature of it, ed has said its more than about the Mudhoney guy.

based on Ed's performances, I'd say Satan's Bed is the toughest for him

I would have to go with something like porch or rvm just for the improvisation involved

Lukin is a pretty easy riff.

Hail, Hail has pretty demanding chord changes.

Lukin and Hail Hail are both pretty easy to play on the bass- not sure about the guitar

A chimp could play Lukin on the guitar. However, it would take him at least 5 minutes to figure it out.

It was bad, its funny on the boots hearing Eddie telling them to "solo or something"

I guess thats why he sometimes has the lyrics on a sheet of paper with him when he plays it now.

Vocally, i think the most demanding would be songs like Blood, Comatose and DTE.
*Does not include encore of Garden and Leash.

You would think Love Reign O'er Me would be pretty damn demanding and take a toll. For Ed that is. But he and the band did perform it perfect. I read on Rolling Stone that Pearl Jam will perform that at the Who VH1 thing.

Definately. I listened to them do it at MSG on youtube and Ed was screaming at full force. I couldn't believe he was still singing strong after that. I nearly cringed listening to it.

Yeah I remember Mike saying the chord changes in "In Hiding" were the toughest to keep up with.

vocally, Evacuation wins by a mile. Its just in a ridiculous key and Ed has to really push to get there.

and I remember reading something from Mike saying that he can't play Spin The Black Circle without being really warmed up first. Doubt we'll ever get it as an opener. :)

I've read where Mike said Corduroy is the hardest for him. As far as Ed, there are quite a few imo. I don't know how he does it night after night. :)

I think Come Back is really hard for Mike because he screws up the solo about 50% of the time
