Putting together a PJ tribute band, curious to see what songs the real diehard fans would like to hear, while they have a few cocktails at their local club....

My answer is always the same to this question:

    Rearviewmirror

I can't help it, its my favorite PJ song and I was ecstatic when I finally learned how to play it (not that its hard, I was just intimidated by it).

for the final track of the night when the bar staff are trying to get rid of those last few hangers on hows about a bit of bugs ;) should help to get people out of the place quickly haha
I'm not saying stupidity should be a capital offence, but what say we take the safety labels off everything and let nature run it's course?

    yellow ledbetter if you can!

    to play out of course
  • i've been working on a solo rearviewmirror, acoustic. i think that would kick ass.(it's pretty hard for me to keep it going) aftre hearing ed preset toronto of porch (just him and an acoustic) that blew me away. i think HAIL HAIL is one of their best songs and rocks.

Thanks for the input, keep it coming, here are the tunes we are working on, I guess I just need to know if you think we missed some:

    wishlist
    yellowledbetter
    evenflow
    betterman
    alive
    corduroy
    porch
    release
    last kiss
    keep on rockin
    animal
    rearviewmirror
    indifference
    daughter
    present tense
    in hiding
    not for you
    why go
    black
    jeremy
    breath
elderly women behind a counter in a small town
    do the evolution
    dissadent

Rehearsals are going well, so look for "Rearviewmirror" in the Toronto area coming soon.

    Crazy Mary!
Of the girl (works as acoustic as well)

Thumbing my way and Off he goes if you're looking for other acoustic suggestions
It doesn't matter if you're male, female, or confused; black, white, brown, red, green, yellow; gay, lesbian; redneck cop, stoned; ugly; military style, doggy style; fat, rich or poor; vegetarian or cannibal; bum, hippie, virgin; famous or drunk-you're either an asshole or you're not!
