What's the difference between a noiseless and a humbucking pickup?

Related: I'm looking at replacing the stock pickups in my mexi strat. Suggestions? I was thinking about the Texas Specials or the Vintage/Hot noiseless.

Noiseless are generally single coil pickups that are made in a such a way that they don't pick up the 60 cycle hum that most single coil pickups tend to be susceptible to. A humbucker is a double coil pickup wired in such a way that each coil is reversed polarity and reverse wound with the other, canceling the hum. So the humbucker is also a bigger pickup, so depending on the pickup routing on your strat, they may not fit in.
