Can I use all speakers in my 5.1 system to play MP3?

I have this:

I want to use it to its potential. Does anyone know if i can get sound from all 5 speakers insted of 2. This would really enhance the pearl jam bootlegs! Are there any other music formats which use 5 speakers? if so what are they?

I don't think that MP3 is capable of 5.1 encoding.

You'll probably get sound out of all the speakers, but the audio isn't encoded to separate everything out to all the channels, like a movie would.
