Can anyone shed any light on what model Martin guitar Ed has been using on the last couple tours, particularily in the pre-opener song he preforms?

It appears to be one of the following: D15, 000-15 or J15, but I am not sure.

Thanks for your assistance/response.

Cheers

Thanks for your response. After I posted, I thought it might be the 00-15 series, but certainly in ed's case be a vintage version of it.

    Thanks again.

Here's a thread on trying to ID all of Ed's Solo Tour instruments:

    (additions, corrections and comments welcome!)

I have that down as the 1940's 0-18 -- The "Hog" or Mahogany one?

During Berk2, he was tickin off items of the band he had scattered around, Jeff's rug, a box of Matt's sticks, and said something like, "And I've been informed that my favorite guitar of the last decade is actually owned by Stone..." Pretty sure he waved back at this one, the hog.

Aside: I have been on an absolute tear trying to play some Martin Size 5 terz guitars ever since the April tour, and now see Stone playin 'em in all his vids and shows! Fascinating dynamics of Terz guitars' smaller size, hence higher frequencies cutting through the sound of normal acoustics, piano-accompanyment, or even orchestra's!

Just not sure the Martin's price is justifiable compared to Larrivee's.
