Why the tweet doesn't work nowadays...

With this thing nowadays called the ineternet, little secrets or "tweets" should never be let out. Back then, you may have known a friend of a friend of a friend who works at MSG...but could not get in contact with them. NOW, you shoot this friend of a friend of a friend an email and bang...everything hits the fan. This "tweet" should never have been released, such a small world now.

Thats all :)

The tweet is necessary these days b/c in the past there has been issues with shows being announced on a Thursday and the 10C presale being on Sunday or Monday. This way we know in advance when they're making announcements and can be better prepared for the ensuing ticket sales.

Agreed. I like the current system, just makes it easier. And I kinda think the anticipation makes it even better. It's great to hear the different speculations people have on what the 'tweet' might be. Gets people hoping, even if that hope is baseless.

Here's an Idea. Give people some time between the date shows are announced and tickets go onsale. I'll be megapissed if there is an onsale date for tickets within one week of today.

    6/19/08 - Camden
