Telecaster question

Hi all . i have a tele and i want to get sound like solo of I am mine.
I am playing with a Marshall Amp 50Fx (small one) but with some efects.

But the sound isnt fine (je je )

Maybe i m will be try with some efects like Delay

    Doesn't Ed use a Schecter PT, which has humbuckers? That may be your problem.

    Edit: Wait, does Mike play the solo?

    Yes indeedy!

    That's one song I wish Mikey would add to. The solo he plays is the exact one from the album. It's not bad, but I think he could make this average live song great.
    I'm not sure what guitar he plays on it though. Hmm...

    Well,

    Play on the neck position of the tele to give it the smoothness and bigness of the mikes playing. I think just some overdrive should do. I haven't listened to that song in a bit but I think its standard mike tone. Like say hello to heaven or anything. Neck pickup Plus slightly overdriven guitar.
