I am having a hell of a time getting my pinky finger to tuck under my ring finger (i.e 12th fret, b and e) i can bar it, however my master won't allow it.
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.

    Any other chord voicing you could try that wouldn't involve putting the fingers in that position? I don't know which chord you're trying to play there, but you could try rearranging the order of the notes (ie a new voicing) so you still have the same chord, but it'll be easier to play.
