Trouble with "Release"

The chords are three basic ones but It does not sound right.
What should I be doing????

    What 3 chords are you playing ? I assume you are referring to the chorus........
    I always got confused by teh Ten book tab, but
    Dsus2, Bm7, C as a barrrrre always sounds OK to me.
    The intro and verse is tabbed in teh book, of course.
    Music is not a competetion.
