One of my New Year's "Resolutions" is to learn to play this ukelele that I've had for about my whole life. I used to play it when I was kid...It seems to be made of maple, but it has some damage (cracked in several places)...The thing is about 50 years old...

Anyway, I was thinking of either restoring it or just getting a new one, but what I need to know is what uke (i.e. size, etc.) to rock bands such as Pearl Jam use? I know there's tenor, bass, etc. ukes, but help! I know nothing!

Any info is appreciated...I also plan to take lessons so that I can learn the proper technique!

Thanks -- and Happy New Year!!

Ed uses a Tenor Uke. and heres the link to the Uke http://www.earnestinstruments.com/tululele.html
however he hasnt always used those, so any tenor will do.
Those who dance are called insane by those who dont hear the music
