I personally like the single-single-single layout better but my strat sounds awesome!
When I get the cash I'm going to sell it and hopefully get around $250 and buy a deluxe ash strat with the s-1 switching for around 650-700

I gave that guitar back. My strat's a S-S-S.
Agreed. To me, thats what makes a Strat a Strat. I'm glad I got mine without a double coil in sight.
Aged Cherry? That's the color I want but no one has it, I found it once in a guitar center and that is when I first fell in love with that strat.
IMO the humbucker on the fat strat doesn't sound like a "real bucker"...it just add's a little "fat" to the single bridge
