    WOW

I haven't played that song in YEARS, literally. It was one of the first songs I ever learned. I should go learn that again and play it.

    I play lotsa Hendrix like:
    Hey Baby (New Rising Sun)
    Manic Depression
    Voodoo Child
    Little Wing
    Drifting
Rainy Day, Dream Away >>> 1983
    Castles Made of Sand
    Have You Ever Been...
    Burning of the Midnight Lamp
    Wait til Tomorrow
    May This Be Love
    Bold As Love
    Pali Gap
    Machine Gun

    And some SRV of course:
    Texas Flood
    Life by the Drop
    Life without You
    Pride and Joy

    And as for PJ:
    Alive
    Garden

    Around the Bend
    Thumbing My Way
    Corduroy
    Immortality
    Indifference

When I play for people, I do a mini-PJ set of this:
Immortality intro >>> Indifference >>> Immortality (then mellow jam on the "A" chord and up-tempo into...) >>> Alive!!! Some of my favorite 15 minutes of playing!!!
    Rock on!

Let It Go - Def Leppard
    Take it Easy - Eagles
    Redemption Song - Bob Marley
    The Ocean - Led Zeppelin
    Rain Song - Led Zeppelin
    Angie - Rolling Stones
    Wild Horses - Rolling Stone
    Walk On - U2
    Angel of Harlem - U2
    Paranoid - Black Sabbath
    War Pigs - Black Sabbath
    Mama Kin - Aerosmith
Train Kept A Rollin' - Aerosmith

I definitely prefer sing-a-long by the campfire type songs when I'm on my acoustic. When I'm on my electric, except for picking up the odd riff, I work on my own stuff.

Some great songs there under Hendrix. May this be Love is probably my favourite guitar sound ever. I have no idea how to play it though :( chords, tuning and definitely not tone!

For me personally i started of playing Zeppelin and loving it now love playing any Black Keys. Especially Everywhere I Go with the one string gas tank bass. I get in a trance.

If there's ever been an easy SRV tune, this is it! He does this tune on a 12-string guitar so it's not so much of the typical SRV style -- as basic as SRV gets!
