Hey Everyone,
I'm hoping to get some insight on the seating inside the Opera House. Has anyone here been there before? I'm trying to figure out where the best seats are (back of Orchestra vs mid Mezzanine vs beg balcony...etc). I need to buy tix and will obviously not be getting first 20 rows, so what's the next best?? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not a bad seat in the place. It's too small to have a terrible seat. I went there to see Damien Rice and it is still the greatest sounding acoustics I have ever heard. I sat in the orchestra but I roamed around during the show a little just to get a feel for the place and the sound was amazing everywhere I went in the venue.

You can't get a bad seat in the opera house. The first couple rows in the dress circle or Mezz is better than last row orch.

akall - Why is that? Sounds like if I had middle Mezz it would be better than last row Orchestra...is that because Mezz is elevated?

Yes, the elevation helps. But if you look at the seating chart, you can see that the dress circle/mezzanine start around the middle of the orchestra seats. So, if you have seats in the dress circle or the first few rows of mezzanine you you be sitting around orchestra row M or so, only from an elevated standpoint. It also gives you a great view and perspective of the stage. But, as previous people have posted, there aren't really bad seats in this place.
