I here a lot about the Fender Twin Reissue, and a lot about vintage Blackfaces...but i don't have 3 or 4 grand to spend on an Amp (I only pretend I'm a Rock Star).

I dig that Tele sound, Springsteen, 70's Stones- Anyone have any recomendations for a new guitarist?

    Springsteen and the stones. Nice.

Bruce uses tweeds I know with his esquire and the stones as well.

You can't go wrong with a low powered tweed twin. One of the more heralded rock and roll amps.

In that stead... the tweed deluxe (50's era) is veddy nice. As is the Bassman.

Exile on Main Street is one of my favorite albums of all time.

The 5E8 40 Watt Twin is outstanding.

Here is a reissue of that famous 55-57 Amplifier.

My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

check out ceriatone.com, for much less money Nik can build you a fender head, ship it to you, and then you buy a small cab from http://avatarspeakers.com for instance. Don't give in to the Fender prices. There are alternatives.
    Riverside.. LA.. California. EV?
