i hav overdrive added in on my amp, its okay but im thinkin more distortion side....wat is better?

    neither, they are two different animals.
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    don't spend your money on effects until you learn though.

    overdrive is more... driving...

    distortion is more.. well.. worse sounding.

    stick with OD..

    but they are completely different.

    I agree. OD is better. Also, learn the fundamentals of lead before buying the wah. Learn how to control bends, work with harmonics, and get some good vibrato, then get the wah. It will be a worthwhile experience.

    i can play already, i hav music in my blood:) lol so im just wanting to upgrade to better sounds and eventually to a real fender
