I got a well paying summer job.

My academics have paid off, and I've gotten a well paying lab job for this summer (May-Sept). Sparing the details, I stand to make about $10 000 in 4 months.

Last summer, I was a spending fiend, and didn't really save much or focus on specific items.

I plan to pay most of my tuition and my rent + bills, but this should leave some money for gear.

The things I really want are

a) get my Les Paul into the shop for a fret replacement from frets 1-9 (they're toast)

b) a nice strat.

c) Some sort of amplifier, with the main focus on the YCV50BLUE.
