Found the guy I was looking for.
Smart, quick with music, has some of the best chops I've heard in a while, quick learner, has decent gear, and enthusiastic about the whole thing.
He's primarily a metal player, but wanted to get into a part time classic rock band, and we fit his schedule perfectly.
Really impressed me at his audition, and pretty much kicks all sorts of ass. Even with just myself and my bass player last night, it filled out the sound so much more.
I'm looking forward to Sunday's practice now.
