Hi guys,
This is a collection of PJ songs played by 16 italian cover bands.
A Tribute.
The idea rose from pearl jam Love Boat Board ( http://www.forumcommunity.net/?c=941) , an italian forum.
All the bands have at least one member in the forum, the artwork of the CD is by a guy from this forum community, too.
Some of the bands tried to be faithful to the original, some tried to re-arrange the song.
All the bands wanted to pay homage to Pearl Jam, and to express gratitude for the music which helped so many of us in hard times, elated us in good times, inspired us, made some of us better men, became part of our lives.
This compilation is non-profit. the bands self-produced the covers, "supergossard" made the artwork free, "fra" & "nick" organized the whole thing with just one purpouse: to "SPREAD THE JAM".
We just wish this thing made a little noise, to make everyone know that here in italy there's a small but significant group of hardcore PJ fans!
and maybe, we hope, someone will like some of the songs we covered!
We would like to dedicate this little tribute to the band: ED, STONE, JEFF, MIKE, MATT (and Jack and Dave), and to all the PEARL JAM fans around the world.
