Yo peeps, if you heard about my little project guitar, here's my ideas for pickguards:

    this would be a good one for that project too.

    I think so Mr Fish, although i don't know whether for the better of for the worst. This guitar is a showcase of all things tasteless so this is why i have gone down the 'real aluminium' route.

    yeah, 90 bucks is ridiculous.

    either of the diamond plate versions is sufficently cheezy.

    I think the first would be great, that is still £30.....about $65. But i have to have something along those lines.

    Oh yeah, i been told that the pearlescent paint should work fine on unlaquered wood. It's like £35 for the lot...primer, paint, varnish.
