eddie's electric sitar

had the pleasure of seeing PJ 3 times in the last week, and at 2 of the shows they played Who You Are.....eddie had the old Jerry Jones sitar he used to use on the song back in the day
i was surprised that it doesn't really get much play in the song - stone or mike plays the ascending/descending intro lick, and eddie just strums it during the bridge......only during the extended outro - which is a new addition to the song - did i really hear him using it to make "middle eastern" sounds
anyhow, i can cross Who You Are off my list of "songs i've never heard live"

"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young
