this is what i'm talking about - simple, funky, and great phrasing......the whole solo only uses 4 different notes:

it was easy to learn this by ear, and i've been using the licks from it in my own solos the last couple of days......its a challenge to try to bust a funky ass solo using only a few notes, but this is the kind of playing i love
