Gonna switch to electric...

Yep I'm gonna finally get an electric. I've been playing acoustic for a year and a half. I'm a poor student (but I've got a part time job which is a start i guess). I may just put it on the visa (yes a stundent with a visa, for buying pearl jam stuff). I'm thinking just like a $300-$400 guitar/amp combo. i see my local store has an Ibanez combo for $400. Anyway is taking up electric guitar worth it? I pretty much play my acoustic every day. I'm not that flash but 18 months ago i couldnt play shit. now i can play Stones part for Fuckin' Up. Just doesn't sound as cool on an electric.

    If you really want to pick up an electric DO IT. That sounds like a killer deal on that guitar combo too.

    I personally am not a huge Ibanez fan, but what kind of Ibanez is it?
