Hey,
I am getting a JCM head, and i have aline 6 flextone III, just wondering if plugging to heads into one cab is even an option. Obviously the cab would have to have stereo inputs, and the heads woudl have to have the right resistance. But can this be done???

actual amp head switchers are available but more expensive.

That's it, as long as the impedences are kosher you are essentially just splitting the stereo cab, for recording you could mike up each side depending on what you do with it. It might make for some nice layering. Make sure you don't overload the capacity of the speakers in the cabinet, that's all.

It might cost more than your Line 6 head though.
Another thought...and this is super cheap compared to the CAAE option. wire your cab for 2 inputs...basically, your JCm would go into 2 12's, and the Lin 6 would go into the other 2. Provided the pseakers can handle the power, you're in business. You could ten use an ABY box. When the sound guy/girl sets up for your rig, he/she will need to place 2 mics...1 for your JCM speakers, and the other for the Line 6
