Hey all,
I would just like to thank everybody, from everybody - for being helpful, kind, respectful, and genuine to the readers and writers in the musicians forum. These days the Porch (and other forums) are just full of rants and raves, but i allways see myself coming back here to check up on all the folks, and try and answer some questions if i have time. Again, thanks everyone for making this the most enjoyable forum in the message pit for me, and im sure others apreciate it as well.
Keep up the good posts, and keep this forum, the best one.
Sincerely,
Harrison

Thanks everyone.

Us M&G's take care of each other, and it's really appreciated.

I always come here first
I really think we're like our own little group on the Pit and it's almost neat seeing someone else from M&G on a different forum... It's like "Hey!! I know you from M&G"
You guys know what I mean :D
This is my favourite forum!!!
Cheers guys and thanks

If it makes you feel better - or worse: you've been missed. How is the little one?
Nice thread harrison, and it's true. This is one peaceful and fun little micro-cosmos y'all created.
And enharmonic: I think you're on to something
I just don't get it!

It's been a very interesting and informative few years here and I think we've all helped each other along on the tone journey.
to a forum buddy who would certainly have been in on this thread...
(Vaya con Dios and Rest In Peace Rob.)
just wondering who this is?

I'd been playing for all of 4 months for it to payoff.
Spent 5 minutes on the Porch and it felt more like ass soup being poured into the valley of ass. Not very friendly and welcoming at all.

It's really refreshing in this M & G section compared to all the negativity going on elsewhere.
Much appreciated!
what a fucker, this guy.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
Anytime. The only dumb question is the question you don't ask. Lots of musicians treat people like crap because they don't know the answers themselves. I've always found that the people who know their stuff, are more than happy to share info.
i don't know much, but what I do know I'm happy to pass along. If it makes the next guy or girl want to play, it's all good

Rob was a great human being, a great guitarist, and my oldest friend from 1965. Rest in peace, bro.
He's the reason I got onto this board to send a message from Nepal, to an wonderful lady here,,,,,, and here I am now.
This is a great forum. like enharmonic says, no question is a dumb question. It's great to have a mix of musicians, electronics experts, beginners, experienced and no egocentric people.
I've been playing and building guitars for years, and it's great to be able to help out and share what I know,, but also to learn. I've learned about a lot of new things about pedals and effects here.
Ha ha,,, My whole pedal chain is Exhausted's switcher pedal, and Telesonic's Shannon overdrive, compressor and Uniphase along with a bunch of loopers and delays. Once he builds a delay, I'll get that, too!
I'm going for an All Shannon chain!
I met some great people face to face from here, and soon'll meet more, too!
Cheers all!!
