I've been playing around and really all by ear and such. I'm trying to figure out what would come next in this chord progression:

D, Am7....then?


I'm just trying to figure out and play around, thanks guys.

    How about D Am7 to Bm to C then Cm Cm6 then G
    Of course that sounds like the end of a song, but maybe someone else can add to it.

    No worries no need to pay me royalties,,,, but when you open with that song in your show, after PJ is your opening band,,,, just dedicate it to me, please?

    just play what sounds right, mathematical music MOST of the time ends up sounding mathematical, just play whats good, and even if it looks odd when written just get jiggy with it

    well, I'm not sure the speed of your song, or the feeling you're trying to get at, but after what you wrote, I feel an Eminor once, than your 0-2-2h3p2-0-2, then repeating that. Or work off it. Whatever. That's the beauty of it. :)
