New Amp

I recently bought a Epiphone Les Paul off of Ebay that's been a blast to play. I've been playing it through a small Squier amp, you know the ones that come in the guitar bundles. Needless to say it sounds like crap! I wanted to get a better small practice amp because I live in a pretty small apartment and can't get a tube amp. I started doing some research and came across really good reviews of the Vox 15R. It looked like a great amp for under $130 dollars. I decided to check out Ebay for the hell of it, I did just get my guitar there for an amazing price. To make a long story short I ended up winning the bid for a very slightly used Vox 15R amp for $40.00!! I couldn't believe it! Now I'm impatiently waiting for it to arrive tomorrow.
If anyone else is looking for the same amp I just saw another one on Ebay that's even less. I wish I waited longer! The seller didn't list it as a 15R so it's a bit more difficult to find. I'm not sure if I can put a link here so if anyone's interested send me a PM and I'll tell you where to look.
*Just to note I have absolutly no affiliation with this seller*

i know what you mean though about a tube amp being loud...i live in a small apartment but i sacraficed getting in trouble by neighbors for 40 watts of tube joy!
Can you recommend a good 5 watt tube amp. I'll test my neighbors patience for a while and then possibly upgrade to the tube!
Epiphone Valve Special
but i gotta tell you, if I was going tube I would be looking to get something a little bit bigger...personally
