    i was thinking about purchasing a different guitar. a new one and putting lighter strings on it for more accoustic sounds. i also want a good electric for some good metal noise

    ghs boomers on everything.

    11 to 50 on the 25.5" and 24.75" scales
    12 to 52 on the 24" scale
    10 to 46 on the 12 string

    elixir nanowebs on the acoustics.
    mediums on the 6 strings
    lights on the 12.

    I'm currently using GHS Boomers (10s) on my strat and Martin phosphor bronze (12s) on my acoustic. My favorite for electric has to be DR Pure Blues though, also in 10s.
    If idle hands are the devil's workshop, he must not be very productive.

    electric-10-46 gibson pure nickel on singles, 11-48 pure nickel on les pauls(topwrapping takes some of the tension off)
    acoustic-clapton's choice martins
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go
