Wait, you can control the tremelo with a roto-like foot pedal? What other cool features are on this??

  • yessir, you control the rate/speed by rocking it.
side swith for intensity and wave.
it also features a 6dB+ boost.

I gave the man 140euro for a second hand one, but... you know... happiness is a warm gun ;)

probably not the best thing in a studio but if you like to freak the wave while playing...
I also like the little delay (hello mark knopfler!) on solos.

looks really cool to me, I'm never actually seen one up close.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Damn! They're discontinued. I tried to do a search on musiciansfriend but they don't carry them and on eBay, there's one for 185 which is too much for me :(

nice, what's the switch on the heal for? It sure looks awesome.

I loved the old stereo panner tremolo (also purple) that dunlop put out 10 years or so ago, I've heard of the TVP-1's but I can't remember seeing them.

Can you pan with the treadle too?

Nice and versatile. I like it. The Gig FX chopper is in this same kind of vein (and then some) but it dosen't have the volume feature I don't think.

    thanks.
the switch on the heel has been put there by one of the previous owners.
It allows you to bypass the signal without affecting the rate/tempo.
As for panning I place the tvp after the dd5, that works a bit (if that's what you meant).

volume (from zero to normal) is nice if you know how to cope with it, I don't.
and boost is really low (6db) if you already have a 25db (I mainly bought it for the tremolo).

Sure the Chopper seems good (I never tried one), but I'm not for too many effects in one.

it's all essentially the same thing, just different wave form types.

    volume modulation is volume modulation.

I want to try one, thing is - unless coincidences and luck - we don't have a HUGE range of choice here.
