Nylon strings on an acoustic

I know that nylon strings are mainly for classical guitars, but my friend bought a set, hoping to throw them on his acoustic, but decided against it, so he gave them to me. They're Ernie Ball Nylon Classic Ball End strings. Would I have any problem slapping them on my acoustic? I noticed the ball ends aren't like the kind I'm used to. I'm just curious if they're stay under the bridge pins or if I'll have an issue winding them down the tuning posts. Thanks in advance!

  • I've only just starting trying to teach myself nylon string/classical guitar. I hear/read though from various places that you shouldn't mix the strings with a regular guitar. I may well be wrong... just a hunch.
