Does anyone know what Ament plays at the very beginning of 'Alone'. I'm pretty sure the verse is E at the seventh fret A string to D at the fifth fret A string. and the scale he plays to follow EV's vocal sounds major but i'm not sure. I know how to play the bridge too. Any help would be appreciated.
That's one more time around... and there is not a sound. . . he's lying dead, clutching benjamins never put the money down

He's stiffening. . . we're all whistling

  • i'm not sure .. you should look at the guitar part to compare what you think the bass is.

i have no idea if its indeed right, but what you've said could be right. its in the same key as the guitar.
Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

i've seen the guitar tab and its just e7 to d. i think Ament stays on those same notes, he just jumps octaves. I think He really likes jumping octaves, using the index finger\pinky to match the bass\snare.
