I have #67. I'm getting a Stephenson Stage Hog, so the Greedtone has to go. This is strictly a money issue. Greg is the man, and I will eventually own one of these again, but for now, I gots to go with the Stage Hog.

$175 shipped. Power supply included.

    Will do :)

BTW, the low gain setting on this pedal is the shit. Lots of great sounds in the box, but the low gain is worth the price of admission. Greg did a hell of a job.

I just have to find out if I get paid this week.

    Sounds amazing with an SG?

Its the only pedal I run my SG through most of the time. Enharmonic is right, the low gain is amazing, but you can get crazy distortion out of it too. Crunch for the chords, but great clarity when playing lead too.
  • I'm not really looking to get some "crazy distortion" so that's why I'm happy to hear that it is amazing at a lesser gain setting. Does the Greedtone take pedals well? Because I wonder how it would sound if I ran that and then put the OCD over it! :)

The Greedtone is on the top of my list for next pedals but the Menatone pedals are right there too :)

I just meant it that you can get a range of tones out of it, from a very slight OD to really hard distortion. I've played it with my BD-2 as well and liked the results, as well as with your usual other types of pedals, wah, phaser, delay.

It has a subtle thickening effect on your tone, but the clarity and articulation of your unaffected guitar signal is preserved. To that end, I'd put the low gain setting on par with a Klon Centaur...perhaps just a touch more aggressive, with a much wider range of useful gain.
  • Alrite, yeah...I just need by the end of the week! If you don't sell it by Friday send me a PM...even if you do, let me know if you did :)

sad to see the GTone go, but wow, stage hog is redonkulous, what's the wait time these days?
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
