I've been thinking about getting a jazzmaster body in either alder from warmoth routed for dual humbuckers. a strat neck flamed maple with rosewood or ebony fretboard. and a jb in the bridge, along with a fralin p-02 in the neck.

what are some good ways to go from there.

ahh customizing jazzmasters, a favorite of mine :)

Something to consider is the type of bridge you want. the traditional jazzmaster trem doesnt quite work the same way as a strat trem, and of course there is the issue of routing. Make sure you get the right kind of pots for humbuckers. Im pretty sure they are 500k. Furthermore, how many volume/tone controls? I have one of each on mine. Seems to suit me well, but you may want to have it lp style with 2 of each. Strat style isnt a bad option i guess, with a tone for each pickup. Is the body going to be pre-finished for you? how about the neck? I prefer ebony fretboards on mine, but thats just me.

    KEEP IN MIND!
WARMOTH'S JAZZMASTER PICKGUARDS ARE DIFFERENT, AS ARE THEIR ROUTINGS. Looks more like a fernandez decade v1 (see billy corgan adore era)
