here is a site for anyone interested in tele pups and mods. this guy really loves roy buchanan. so if youre looking for that kinda tone some of this stuff might help. i particularly like the nancy's heart pot. of course if you really want to sound like roy buchanan you'd have to take razor blades to the speakers in your vintage tweed, which i would not recommend to anyone. my cousin was around in the 60's and 70's and saw roy many times. in fact, roy started recognizing him and always saved a table in the front for him and his friends when he played in memphis. my cousin has held nancy and assures me the guitar he has is in fact nancy, so the mods would be accurate. he also said the only two things roy wanted to know when he got in town were, where the holiday inn and liquor store were, and he ALWAYS bought 2 fifths of jack daniels. he only cared about two things drinking and playing and was damn good at both.
