duo sonic II??

i may have the opportunity to buy a '65 fender duo sonic II. it's my cousins and he may want to sell it. i have it at my house now, just to play with some. the fretboard is a little banged up, but for the most part plays fine. oh it is the 24 inch scale version, rosewood fretboard, maple neck. it is all original, which means the tuning machines feel like crap. it probably needs to be set up by a professional cause i think the intonation is off and there is some fret buzz on the d and g strings. its red with the standard vintage fender wear and tear. so my question is what is a good price? i don't want to get ripped, but at the same time it is my cousin and he is selling it cause he needs money, so i want to make a fair deal if i do it.
