question for anyone out their, why does mccreadys solos at times sound like he just going deedle deedle deedle with his guitar. I love his guitar playing but i wondered if a change in tones would allow his playing to sound differently

one's guitar tone models the lead work.
hair metal turn everything up all the way and it sounds like shit and makes my ears bleed.
mike uses a nice warm sound.
billy corgan uses very low tone, making it sound really full and cool.
i keep my bass kind of high and my treble about mid way up, it gets a nice sound.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..
