I seriously doubt it as this is only about Pearl Jam. Unless REM is promoting a PJ film.

    I loved Cortez The Killer.

OMG that's on it?! This is awesome - I'm watching part 1 now, just saw the part with the pointing guys with their eyes blacked out.

I hope there will be a way to buy a DVD of it.

    No it isn't, actually.

There are definitely editing differences (for example, no "news crawl" on the beginning of the one on the REM site; the Ed sit-down interview in the first minute or two is in B&W on the REM one, in color on the Vimeo one). I haven't watched both to compare yet (I'll wait until I can see the whole thing), but I do believe there may be many differences based on what I've seen in the first few minutes of both versions.

Anyone else tried to do a side-by-side yet?

anyone know why they took down the entire documentary on the REM site?

also, i thought the plan was to have the free DL available "on the days leading up to the election"?

re-read it: "...will be released digitally and free of charge on the Pearl Jam website in the days leading up to the November 4th election"

Read four posts up from yours.

There seem to be differences in editing and production, but not so much to the content.

Like I said above, I haven't watched more than five minutes of the one PJ.com is putting up, but I was easily able to tell that there were indeed differences in the presentation.

The Boston shows were warm ups and not part of the VFC shows.

  • I was at that interview behind the Toledo Sports Complex. Eddie came out and wanted to talk politics but it was the first time I ever 'met' him. I was frozen and couldn't pull the trigger with my imput. It was a great experience nonetheless.
