ive got this mixing board...

i researched quite a bit and realized that digital recording on a computer is cheaper and easier than tape at times. Even though im usually "anti digital" and i would much rather record on tape i decided to let that go. Im still going to record my band live through the mixing board and into the computer and not do much editing, because i like it more "raw". Im going to get the mAudio firewire audiofile for 169$. I still want to record in stereo and this has stereo inputs.

i just wanted to make sure that i can run the stereo out from my board to the stereo in on the mAudio firewire.
also on a mixer board if i change, say the 1st input with guitar, to the left chanell will it record on the left chanell?
