urgent help needed.

Ok
So im playing a gig tonight and my footswitch to change channels is fcuked.
Can i just use any other brand of footswitch if my mate gives me his for the night?
Someone told me that it wont work?

Help?

    As long as the cabling is fine its good.
    Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

    I believe it all depends on the wiring and how many switches your switch has compared to his, etc.

    Did you check to make sure the button wasn't pushed on the amp before you conclude it's the footswitch at fault instead of the user?

    yeah nah the footswitch is completely rooted.

    CHeck it's not juts stuck down. LAst time this happened to me, a squirt of WD-40 solved the problem.
    Music is not a competetion.
