Is this normal or...

I have an ampeg reverberocket. I play it with the treble on 10 and bass and mids on 0. Does anyone else do this or do i just have a real bass-middy amp?

    people in hardcore and grindcore bands that play guitar have their treble way up and bass and mids way down, and tune down to drop C

    on my fender devill reissue i play with the mids at about 9/12, the bass at about 6/12 and the highs at 3/12
