    Congrats. I've been looking into the American Deluxes as well. What are the differences between the Ash and th eregular (non-Ash) models?

    cant really tell much difference,i think its just literally the wood and the colours......im going for the tobacco sunburst:)

    ash is a little "brighter" sounding than alder. it might also be a little lighter.

    fucking lucky, i played one on munday, and they are awsome. im pretty happy with my deluxe ash tele tho:)
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go

    i got a Marshall JCM 2000 100 watt head and 4x12 for my amp and my pedal set up is simple:Boss TU-2,Vox Wah,Dunlop Rotovibe and Line 6 Delay Modeller.The s-1 switching is great:)Build quality of the guitar is excellent too.
