getting 1000 dollars for a new guitar

im getting 1000 dollars for my graduation next month and its for a new guitar from my grandparents. well its going towards a new guitar and im looking at possibly a nice hollowbody. i already have a fender and an acoustic. so i was thinking something that cna give me some bluesy riffs but can rock at the saem time....... can i get your thoughts on the best i can get a tthat price.

I also have an Epiphone Casino...that I like alot
If you can add some $$ to it, check out the Heritage hollow bodies.

the Gretsch Electromatic hollowbody would also be cool with the bigsby and Dearmond 2K pups.
It's so obvious. It only leaves one real question: P-90's or humbuckers?
If I remember right, the Epiphone Lucille is right in that price range, too. A damn good choice.
