What are Epiphone Basses like?

I was looking around on their site, and I liked the way their Explorer looked (http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=113&CollectionID=12).
I like the way it looks (if anyone has any links to other basses that look like that, that'd be coolzorz). If anyone has any info on Epiphone Basses, that would roxorz. An estimate on the price of that would be +5 Awesome. >_>

I'm currently using an ESP LTD C-10 package one that I got ~half a year ago. I'd be willing to save up if their basses are high quality.

  • I'm sorry this doesn't answer your question, but I believe a big deal with the guitar version of the explore was the over all balance.

To be honest, I don't really like them... but this is coming from a guy who plays a MusicMan 24/7, so I'm not really a fair judge of such things anymore
