I just got this guitar

I just got this Yamaha FG-512. I dont know anything about it and was wondering if anyone could help me out. Is it a good guitar. I just started playing on and electric and am just learning, this one is 12 string and acustic will it be hard to make the transition. I do know that the guitar is from the 70's sometime but thats about it.
