Iron Man
e
B
G--2----5----5--7--7----10-9-10-9-10-9--5--5--7--7--
D--2----5----5--7--7----10-9-10-9-10-9--5--5--7--7--
A--0----3----3--5--5
8-7--8-7--8-7--3--3--5--5--
E

e
B
G--5--Pinkie
D--5--Ring
A--3--Index
E
You just drop the index finger on the A5 (first chord), and for everything else you just shift the same chord shape up and down the neck. That's a 5-string power chord (because your root note is on the 5th string). 6-string power chords are the same shape, just moved down one string.
Smoke on the Water
e
B
G--2--5--7----2--5--8-7----2--5--7----5---2-2--
D--2--5--7----2--5--8-7----2--5--7----5---2-2--
A--0--3--5----0--3--6-5----0--3--5----3---0-0--
E
Now, you can simplify by playing a simpler power chord...
e
B
G
D--5--Ring
A--3--Index
E
Especially with distortion, the two will sound pretty close to the same. Both are technically X5 chord shapes. Power chords are essentially just barre chords with no accents, emphasis, or 3rd tone (major or minor; they are neutral). The very foundation of punk, heavy metal, hard rock...
