I forgot to note it but I actually do have the Bass Pod. Its good for the recording stuff I do, sense its hard to afford a few different tube bass heads. I'm in the process of dumping my ampeg b2r head, for a 100 watt ampeg tube head.

Yeah they are on the pricy side, and I put them off for a couple years now. But actually I'm really glad I purchased it. When we record I use it pretty much non stop.

mig would you accept a bogner 4x10 or a matchless 4x10?

Orange I don't think is with you on this one. Damn shame too.
It'd be the perfect compact companion for the AD30R head. I'd like to see the same preamp paired with 6l6's.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Well, quite frankly... the only reason I want an Orange cab is because of the cool factor and the vibe. I already have the Marshall 4x10" with Celestions, an Orange would be the same sonically speaking. But to have that orange tolex, the wheatcloth grill, and the Orange logo on front... I'd sell my Marshall for that in a heartbeat. I guess Orange is just too blind to see the advantages of 10" speakers for guitar.

I remembered a few things for my wishlist:

    4-Universal Audio LA-2A comp/limiters
    8-dbx 160X comp/gates
A good plate reverb (not a digital emulator, a real plate unit)
    Yamaha SPX90
    Ampex 2-inch 24-track tape machine
    16 channels of Neve preamp
    48-track SSL recording console
    Midas Heritage 3000
    L'Acoustics Line Array
    Rat monitors
    Shure PSM700 IEM system
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    guitars:

2002 gibson honeyburst les paul standard (my baby)**

1999 epi les paul, which i tricked out with duncan distortion pickups and grover tuners**

Ibanez acoustic/electric with a fishman pickup**

1993 gibson flying v, which was listed as burgunday but is actually a sort of magenta color

1992 shitty ibanez electric that needs a bunch of work and is beat to hell (my first guitar so i can't bring myself to get rid of it)

    Amps:
Laney 50 watt true tube 3 channel head that just kicks my ass (shameless plug, if you want a versatile great sounding head, check out the new laneys)**

    crate stealth 100 W 2x12 combo

    crate 120 W 2x12 solid state combo

    Blue voodoo cabinet**

    Pedals/ effects:
    furman powered pedal board**

some dod rackmount effects processor that i have not plugged in in 4 years

korg ax1000g that i used to use for recording only, its not really too convenient for gigs.

    Boss tuner**

    Jeckyll & Hyde pedal**

    Maxon sd 9 sonic distortion**

    boss chorus pedal**

    marshall compressor**

    boss overdrive/distortion**

    boss xtortion pedal

and the shitty dod "grunge" pedal that i got b/c it was on sale for $30 or so. i've never used it on stage.

**= parts of my actual gig rig......anything not astericked is currently collecting dust in my spare bedroom.

    Here's what I have....

    Guitars:

1983 Anjo Acoustic (it's the same one Dave Foley would smash in an episode of kids in the hall....). Dirt cheap, first guitar, still have it.
1985 Kramer Aerostar (White, Rosewood fretboard, 1 Volume, 1 Humbucker (bridge) )
1991 Ibanez RG550 (Blue, Maple fretboard, Dimarzio PAF Pro(neck), original single coil(middle), Dimarzio Fred(bridge) )
1972?1976? Fender Mustang (sunburst, rosewood fretboard, all original parts except for the volume and tone knobs...it used to be the guitar used in jazz band at the highschool)
2002? 2001? '72 Telecaster Custom RI(black, rosewood fretboard, swapped the original 3-saddle bridge for a 6-saddle bridge, MiM)

    Effects :

    Jim Dunlop Cry Baby
    DOD Corrosion
    Ibanez TS9 Tubescreamer
    Line6 MM4
    Line6 DL4
    Boss TU-2 Tuner
    Ernie Ball Stereo Pan/Volume

    Amps:

1985 Jordan Combo Amp. 100 watts I think, 1x12 speaker, knob wise it goes tube blaster on/off switch - Volume - Tube Blaster drive - Master Volume - Treble - Middle - Bass - Reverb - Chorus on/off switch - depth - rate - Power on/off. This was my first amp and I still use it a lot. It's been used a lot and it's super reliable.

    1973 Fender Bassman 10
4x10 combo, 2 new speakers, 2 orginal speakers, all new tubes (groove tube reds, I think, I forget what colour is for what, but these tubes are supposed to be the cleanest). Anyways, I LOVE this amp. Bought for $500 CAD off a guy who was also selling the matching Fender Jazz Bass, same year, for $1500. My friend was going to buy the bass so I went with him to check out the amp. The rest, is history.
    ===========================

    My Wishlist.....

Amps: Another Bassman 10 or even a blackface bassman head with a decent cab. I wouldn't mind an orange head and cab or else an orange combo.

Guitars: '57 RI Strat. SG Special, tealblue, with Fralin p-90's. LP Custom, Black or White, haven't decided yet. Martin acoustic. And that's it. That's all. Seriously. Well, at lease I really hope I can stick to that plan.

    Effects: E-BOW. Digitech Whammy.
