drum machine

I traded a guy a Zakk Wylde OD pedal for a drum machine, without instructions, and that thing sucks to figure out. I should've just bought a used drum set, would've been easier. Anyone else have problems figuring these things out? or am I the exception? hehe

I use it, quite a bit.
Remember, what you are making are LINKS in a chain (each link is a section of time in a drum pattern).
And it all has to be done in the correct meter (4/4, 3/4, 6/8, ect) for it to work out correctly.
Each small section/pattern you program then has to be linked to the next.
So basically you're creating individual links of a chain, which you put together to create 1 big chain.
What drum machine do you have???
Sometimes you can download a manual (Roland/Boss is good about that).
Cheers . . .
